For the book talk in Mostar Cultural Center, Inger was invited to join a conversation about war and its aftermath based on her own work in Bosnia and her recently published book “Sarajevos Roser” (Sarajevo Roses).

Ingrid Aunes Award goes to EuroWARCHILD leader

The Ingrid Aune Memorial Foundation commemorates the legacy of politician Ingrid Aune, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 33. Annually, the foundation presents an award to individuals who have made notable journalistic or academic contributions on peace initiatives, gender equality, and the rights of women in conflict zones. This year, the prize has been awarded to Inger Skjelsbæk for her research on sexual violence related to conflict.
